This was Insomniac’s first game for the PS3. This FPS takes place in an alternate history 1951, with the US and UK allied against a new enemy: the alien Chimera.

The main character is American Army Ranger Sergeant Nathan Hale. He had a resistance to the virus spread by Chimeras that usually forced the infected to undergo mutation.

Nathan gained the ability to heal quickly, as well as enhanced strength and reflexes. Cosmetically, the color of his irises changed to gold, just like most Chimera.

Final Fantasy X-2 Dresspheres

Boy, do I love FFX-2. The game has a wonderful combat system with Garment Grids that let you change Dresspheres mid-battle.

Dresspheres are placed on Garment Grids. When you change Dresspheres, it traces the lines between them on the grid, which can give the Gullwings extra skills or affect their stats for that battle.

Each lady has their own slightly different costume for every Dressphere.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Final Thoughts: When is a Ten Not a Ten?

Trigger Warning: This post analyzes and discusses the game’s use of suicide as a plot device.
The only review that I remember seeing for MGS4 was Game Informer’s, which gave it a rare ten out of ten. I let it raise my hopes about how good the game would be, but the more I think about MGS4, the more I think that it didn’t quite measure up. How can that be? Let’s look at Kojima’s history and his attitude towards this creation of his for answers.
