Final Fantasy XIII-2 Part Six: Final Journey/Final Thoughts and Trivia

I guess that’s just part of loving people: You have to give things up. Sometimes, you even have to give them up.”

-Lauren Oliver, Delirium #1

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Part Five

July 25, 2013: Radical Dreamers
Serah was trapped in a dream of the life she wanted, but she rejected the false hope that the shadow Lightning offered. A mysterious female voice offered Serah guidance, and guess who it was? Vanille. She and Fang were able to help Serah because they were all dreaming at the same time.
Vanille told Serah that Noel was off somewhere having a dream of his own. Fang used her weapon to cut open a spacetime distortion that Serah used to leave New Bodhum 00X AF.
The atmosphere of A Dying World, 700 AF, is very lonely and sad.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Part Four: The Last Hunter

June 23, 2013: The Impersistence of Memory
Noel tried to argue why Caius couldn’t be behind the AI going haywire. He remembered that Caius was a Guardian of the seeress, but couldn’t remember his other reason.
I’m tired of the Tower and its dumb rotating rooms.

Theathrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Part Eight: The Game That Wouldn’t Die!

June 8, 2015: Trophy: Perfect Chained all Basic Scores! 81/96

Sometimes, it just seems like Versus Mode lets your opponent use Judgement a lot. Judgement is perhaps the most dreaded of all the VM skills. It makes anything less than a Critical a “Bad” note which saps your score. Continue reading Theathrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call Part Eight: The Game That Wouldn’t Die!

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Part Four

July 26, 2013: Unlocked Faris. She has high Agility.

July 27, 2013: Maxed out Firion’s level. Almost all of his stats were star-rank at the end. Replaced him with Lightning because of her high Strength.

Trophy: Watched 100 extended versions!

I got a Gray Shard finally.

I like how you can put the 3DS into sleep mode but still hear songs in the Music Player.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Part Three

July 5, 2013: Trophy: Completed your first crystal!

After playing the Series Mode, I realized that FF has a recurring theme of hope.

I eventually realized that you can lose HP from missing notes when you’re summoning too.

I unlocked a song in the Chaos Shrine!

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Part Two

June 25, 2013: I ❤ how cute the monsters can look. It’s fun to see the eyes of wacky lil’ monsters like Ultros the octopus and Ahriman spin around after being hit.

Live-A-Live Part Six

January 4, 2012: I recently learned that the Flow chapter is also known as “Blood Flow”. That makes sense considering the liquified humans in the chapter’s storyline.

The Captain Square minigame has groovy music.

At least Buriki Daioh’s theme was pretty cool.

January 5, 2012: Is anything gonna happen in this chap? It’s all PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT PLOT

Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom Part Three

August 21, 2012: Let’s try to start Ayn’s quest properly by talking to everyone in Agoe.

Ugh, time to relearn what everything is/does.

So, we’re supposed to find “the legendary Satellite”.

Final Fantasy XIII Part 10

October 18, 2010: Three months. That’s how long it took for me to get back in the saddle again.

Well, two and half, technically.

Allow me to describe Barthandelus’ basics. He has 3.3 million HP, nasty lasers, debuffs, and two particular moves you’ll come to hate: Thanatosion Laughter and Apotosis. The former is just a brutal laser barrage. The latter neutralizes all of your buffs and cures his debuffs.
