The Axeman Cometh
Your main goal in this scenario is to kill off some of the plants in the hospital that are blocking off the path to the main plant. It’s blocking off the exit of the hospital.
Jim and Mark were conspicuously absent in this scenario, which didn’t help when I found the main plant. Good thing I kept the Flame Rounds Grenade Launcher; bad thing that I don’t get a No Weapon Clear bonus.
When you kill off the main plant, a desiccated corpse falls out of it. The corpse was Dorothy. The man from the cabin, Al (or Alan) was the Axeman who went insane after trying to use T-Virus experiments to save Dorothy. If you defeat the Axeman, then he retreats to never leave it again. Finally, the building collapses on him. One of the more poignant moments in these games. Continue reading Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 Part Two: Cop Rock

Over 15 years ago now, I took a chance on REO, despite it getting some critical reviews. Can I reignite some of the passion that I had for this game?
The game has tank controls, but it feels smoother than in other Resident Evil games.
One of the most infamous downsides of Outbreak is the amount of loading that the games do between areas/zones. Apparently, when the first generation of PS3s came out with (gasp, shock) PS2 backwards compatibility, the new system allowed people to beat scenarios in record time.
Some people are keeping the dream alive by playing on the Japanese fanmade servers and streaming their playthroughs. Continue reading Resident Evil Outbreak Introduction/Dramatis Personae

Essentially released as a stopgap between Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, RE3:N tells the story of the fate of Raccoon City, and how some of the inhabitants stuck in the bio-organic weapon-infested town tried to survive. The game is mainly concerned with Jill Valentine’s attempts to escape the city with a BOW called the Nemesis in pursuit of her and other former Special Tactics and Rescue Squad members. Her struggle begins in the uptown area of Raccoon City.

The shortcut that leads you back to Douglas’ trailer is on the right side of the Water Hole. On the side of the Underpass is a passage to another part of Dryfield where you can do more grinding, if you want. The enemies there are pretty weak, though.
