Music Monday #2: Now That’s What I Call Bad Video Game Music Volume 2: Beverly Hills Schlock

Beverly Hills Cop (PC) – Main Theme

JESUS CHRIST. This… physically hurts. This “song” may actually be usable as a torture tool. And yet, it’s just barely recognizable as the BHC theme. GUILTY

Cheetahmen – “BGM One”

This song is weird because it reminds me of Kid Chameleon. It has that Genesis crunchiness to it. Just really unoriginal, but at least it doesn’t cause me pain. INNOCENT

Rayman Arena – “Razorwife’s Theme”

Just listen to it a little bit. They took what would otherwise be some pretty standard female vocalization and went absolutely crazy with effects. It may not be “good” in the traditional sense, but it’s pretty audacious. It’s like an aria on drugs. Awesome drugs. ABOVE THE LAW
