Lilith and Nyx are common enemies in this game. Nyx does this weird operatic singing when she casts spells.
I’m buried under a sudden glut of sidequests: the arcade game in Asakusa, the collector Manikin’s hugely expensive Magatamas (195K Macca overall), the Amala Labyrinth, and my main quest. But it’s not like I really need any more Magatamas right now. I don’t use a majority of the ones that I have. Other demons cover the bases I don’t.
I’m not going to face those sisters unless I can get Kelpie leveled up enough to learn Diarama- and possibly fuse him into something that inherits it.

Return to Mantra HQ
Gozu-Tennoh abandoned the headquarters. The manikins’ situation remains dire. They lose their prophet, Futomimi, who was taken to Kabukicho Prison. Isamu headed there too.
Training to take down Dante. Dang, I should have named my character Vergil.
I beat Dante, but had to use some precious items to do it. Can I FINALLY meet Gozu-Tennoh now?
As a boss, Dante isn’t really anything special… just really strong, with high agility. But if you use an ability like Sukunda or Fog Breath, he’ll just use an item to cancel it out and heal himself. He’s just like the other bosses where you have to save your meanest attacks for after his HP is depleted enough.

Sometimes, the game goes a bit overboard on the random encounter rate. At least Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth shows how close you are to a random encounter, and references the earlier SMT games while it’s at it.
Early SMT games showed how much HP the enemies had with a little icon showing their posture.

We had to go through the Vanguards’ old base to talk to Lupa, leader of the Wolves tribe. You can get the Blue Key from a guy on 1F. At least it wasn’t the Maribels’ base again.
